The New York Yankees are moving ahead with all systems go. This team is plowing through their opponents like a hot knife through butter, and there is no indication that they will stop anytime soon. Having dominated the Twins all postseason, they now move on to bigger and better games. The Minnesota team drew some tough luck when they paired off against the Yankees. Historically, they were at 2-9 against them when things kicked off. The Yankees have now extended that lead and are not taking any chances. The game on Saturday ended 6-1 after nine innings of contested play. Football odds.

With Phil Hughes at the mound, the Yankees destroyed the Twins. They were potent at the mound to give seven shutout innings. The whole team pulled together on this one, moving forward with promising results. At the plate, Marcus Thames and Nick Swisher homered to help lift their team to a rousing victory. Football spreads.

The Yankees are well on their way to the finals. They need only to keep winning, something the whole world knows that they are good at. The Yankees are pushing for an unprecedented 28 World Series wins, and if they can keep playing like this, they will definitely get it. The Twins offered up little resistance, and bowed out after the Yanks sent them packing. Football lines.

The rest of the season is looking bright for the Yankees. The New York team will be facing off against either the Rangers or the Rays on Friday. The Yanks would be wise to play their best players for the opener. CC Sabathia will be at the mound, and the rest of the team will be there to support him.
