CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Kevin Murphy scored 33 points, Jud
Dillard tied a career high with 29 and Tennessee Tech hit 16
consecutive free throws in the game's final 4:11 to seal a 94-88
win over Austin Peay on Thursday night.



The teams combined to sink 67 foul shots, with the Golden Eagles
going 30-for-37 (81.1 percent) compared to a 24-for-30
performance (80 percent) for the Governors. More than half of
Tennessee Tech's came down the stretch, clinching the win.



Dillard connected on a career-best 13 of 14 foul shots for the
Golden Eagles (15-9, 7-4 Ohio Valley Conference), while Murphy
was 10 of 12 from the stripe.



Austin Peay led by three points at the break, but Tennessee Tech
rallied to outscore the Governors 61-52 in the second half.



John Fraley scored 31 points to pace the Governors (9-16, 6-6).
