NEVADA 53, UTAH ST 52

RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Deonte Burton hit an off-balance 3-pointer
with 11.2 seconds left as Nevada rallied to beat Utah State
53-52 on Thursday, tying a program record with its 16th
consecutive victory.

Malik Story scored 18 points and Burton added 13 for the Wolf
Pack (19-3, 8-0 Western Athletic).

Preston Medlin had 15 points and Brockeith Pane 12 for the
Aggies (12-11, 4-4).

Utah State had taken a 52-50 lead on a layup by Pane with 2:07

blocked a mid-range jumper by Ben Clifford with 27 seconds left
to give the Wolf Pack its winning possession.

Burton was falling to his knees as the 3-pointer went in.

Utah State had a final attempt, but Elliott blocked Morgan
Grim's layup attempt with 1.4 seconds left to preserve the
victory.

The 16-game winning streak ties the 1965-66 Nevada team for the
