Oregon defeats UTSA 95-78
OREGON 95, UTSA 78

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Arsalan Kazemi had his best game of the
season with 20 points and six rebounds to lead Oregon past UTSA
95-78 on Thursday night.



Dominic Artis scored 16 points and center Tony Woods, who didn't
start for the first time this season, had 15 points off the
bench for the Ducks (6-1), who shot 63 percent from the field.



Woods' replacement, Waverly Austin, had 10 points.



Edrico McGregor scored 19 to lead the Roadrunners (3-3), who
also shot 56.6 percent from the field. Michael Hale III added 18
points and Kannon Burrage had 17.



Kazemi, a one-year senior transfer forward from Rice, made 8 of
9 from the field. He also had four assists.



His dunk with 16:23 to play started an 8-0 run for Oregon after
UTSA had trimmed a 53-40 deficit to 60-55. The Roadrunners never
got closer than 10 points after that.
