North Dakota cruises past Idaho State 66-53

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Aaron Anderson hit three 3-pointers and
scored 19 points Thursday night, helping North Dakota to a 66-53
victory over Idaho State.
Troy Huff added 15 points and Josh Schuler had 14 for North
Dakota (4-8, 1-2 Big Sky), and Jordan Allard pulled down 10
rebounds. Both teams shot just 40 percent from the field, but
North Dakota dominated the boards, outrebounding Idaho State
Tomas Sanchez scored 15 for the Bengals (1-11, 0-3), who lost
their sixth in a row. Andre Hatchett chipped in 11 points, and
Chris Hansen had 10 points and four steals.
North Dakota never trailed and led 31-9 before the Bengals
closed the first half on an 11-0 run. But Idaho State couldn't
close the gap after halftime.
North Dakota took a 2-1 lead in the all-time series; the teams
met for the first time last season and split their two games.
