Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code
Caesars Sportsbook is one of the most popular sports betting options in the country, but it wasn’t always that way. Prior to its acquisition of William Hill, Caesars wasn’t in very many states and didn’t have much of an online presence. After taking over WH in 2021, Caesars replaced the William Hill brand that was live in many states with its own Caesars Sportsbook brand, along with a massive marketing campaign that you are no doubt familiar with. The investment paid off, because Caesars now offers one of the best online sportsbooks in the country, filled with competitive lines and a wide variety of betting markets.
On this page we’ll offer a full breakdown of Caesars Sportsbook in the U.S., including active states, how to register for an account and make a deposit, promo codes, bonuses, and more. Let’s get into it.

Best Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code
Caesars currently has a core welcome offer that is widely available throughout the U.S. It breaks down as follows:
Up to $1250 on Caesars
New Caesars Sportsbook online bettors can secure a $1250 first bet insurance. To claim the offer, visit Caesars Sportsbook using one of our links on this page and utilize the promo code SAOMAXBONUSFULL.
Eligible persons should make their first real money wager within 7 days of creating their Caesars account. Caesars Sportsbook will credit your account up to $1250 if your first wager is a loss. The size of the insurance is dependent on the amount wagered.
The bonus bet will credit within three days if your first wager is a loss. Only your first wager placed with real money will be eligible for the bonus. Once the bonus bet credit posts to your account, you must use it within 7 days.
As far as wagering requirements are concerned, there are none. You won’t be able to withdraw that $1250 bet credit as cash, but if you win a wager using your bet credit, the winnings are yours to keep– no strings attached.
Creating Your Caesars Sportsbook Account
In this section we’ll breakdown the account creation process, step-by-step. It’s very simple – you’ll be perusing the Caesars betting sheet in no-time, ready to make a bet.
Step 1 – Click on our exclusive download link here. This will direct you to the Caesars Sportsbook homepage, and should bring up the ‘Account Registration’ pop up.
Step 2 – Fill out the registration form, providing the requested personal details in the designated fields. On the second page entitled ‘Personal Information’ you’ll be prompted to enter a promo code. Be sure to type “SAOMAXBONUSFULL” here.
Step 3 – And that’s pretty much it – on the final page it will finalize the account creation process and forward you to the cashier, where you can deposit and officially claim the match bonus.
Caesars Sportsbook Deposit Options
Once you’ve created your account, the next natural step is to deposit and claim the exclusive bonus. There’s a few different ways to get to the cashier. First, you can click the ‘Deposit’ button in the top right. You can also get there by selecting the ‘My Account’ button, also top right, and then selecting ‘Deposit’.
Caesars Sportsbook has a broad reach in the U.S., thus options may vary based on the state. Common choices include:
- Online Banking
- Caesars Prepaid Card – you can fund your prepaid card with PayPal, credit cards, etc.
- Credit/Debit Card – Visa, MasterCard, Discover
- ACH / e-Check
- PayNearMe – deposit in-person with participating retailers
- Cash in person at a local Caesars Sportsbook
In keeping with other online sportsbooks, there’s not quite as many options for pulling your funds off a site. However, whichever method you choose – it will be safe and quick. The most common withdrawal methods with Caesars Sportsbook include
- Caesars Prepaid Card
- ACH / eCheck
- Cash in person at a local Caesars Sportsbook
If you’ve got a large amount to withdraw you can also contact Caesars directly to see if other options – like a bank wire for example – might be applicable.
How to Bet with Caesars Sportsbook
Once you’ve got cash in your account, placing wagers is a very straightforward process. The sportsbook is conveniently sorted with the most important events displayed on the homepage. On a browser you can find sports listed by popularity, or through an A-Z list on the left side of the page. It really doesn’t matter what you’re looking for – you can find it with just a few clicks.
Once you’ve identified the right bet, select it, and it will automatically be added to your betting slip on the right side of your screen. Confirm the amount you’re going to wager, and you’re all set.
When using the convenient mobile app it’s just as easy. Popular and upcoming events will be on the homepage, but you can also sort by ‘All Sports’ through a button on the bottom of the app. Once you find the right wager, tap it, and your betting slip will pop up at the bottom of your screen.

State vs. State
Sports betting isn’t regulated at the federal level, which means rules will vary from state to state. In this section we’ll lay out the major differences that you’ll find with Caesars Sportsbook in each of the state’s that it operates. If you don’t see a state listed below, it’s because that state generally offers a standard online sports betting experience without notable restrictions.
Having been in action prior to PASPA’s fall, the Nevada landscape looks a little different than other states. For one, Nevada requires that online sports betting accounts be set up in-person. Caesars predecessor, William Hill, was unique in that it doesn’t have one main casino partner, instead it has many retail sportsbook associates, as well as mobile kiosks throughout Nevada. To bey with Caesars in the state you must create your account at one of the full service sports books, like at the Stratosphere, Alamo Casino, the M Resort, OYO Casino, or many others throughout the state.
You can place a bet with a Caesars Sportsbook at more than 100 locations throughout Nevada – or online through their app. A full map of available betting locations is available on their site.
The only omissions you’ll find with Caesars Sportsbook’s NJ betting sheet relates to college sports. New Jersey sportsbooks are not permitted to accept action on any college sports taking place in the state, or on any New Jersey colleges in general – regardless of location. For example, you can’t bet on Rutgers, college bowl games at MetLife, or college basketball tournaments in Atlantic City.
Caesars Sportsbook (as William Hill) was the first online sportsbook to launch in the state of Iowa. The only major wagering restriction in Iowa is college props – pretty much all other bets are available through Caesars.
Similarly, in Indiana live betting props on college sports are prohibited. Beyond that it’s a pretty open market. You can sign up and deposit from anywhere. You can place a bet on just about anything, from anywhere in the state.
Illinois legalized online sports betting with an in-person registration requirement. Thankfully, that requirement expired in early 2022 and bettors in the state can sign up for a Caesars Sportsbook account from the comfort of their own home. One other notable rule in IL is the inability to bet on in-state college teams (sorry Illini and Wildcat fans).
Virginia went live with online and retail wagering in January 2021, with the first sports bets being placed on the 21st of the month. Many brands are vying for an online sportsbook license in Old Dominion, with Caesars going live there only two weeks later. Bettors will have access to nearly the full smorgasbord of sports and bets, with the exception of VA-based college teams and bets on non-sporting events like elections.
Notably, you only have to be 18 years old to bet on sports in Rhode Island. The majority of the country has elected to set the age requirement at 21, so this is a significant change. Caesars is the sole provider of online sports betting in the state, operating through the Sportsbook Rhode Island App in conjunction with the state lottery. Unfortunately there isn’t currently a welcome offer or promo code for Sportsbook Rhode Island.
Mississippi isn’t included on the table above because the state has yet to launch mobile sports betting. However, Caesars Sportsbook is the most prominent retail sportsbook sponsor in the state with more than 10 current partnerships. If and when full fledged mobile arrives in Mississippi, expect Caesars to be a major factor.
Tennessee was the first state to offer online-only betting. Debuting on March 11, 2021, Caesars was the fifth operator to go live in the Volunteer state and brings its impressive slate of betting options to bettors there. Since there are no retail casinos in the state, Caesars doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar partner, so you can’t go anywhere to make in-person deposits or withdrawals. You can bet on in-state college teams in Tennessee, but no college prop bets are available.
Caesars Sportsbook in Canada
Caesars has been in Canada for many years. Anyone in Ontario will tell you that Caesars Windsor is a big deal in the border community, attracting both Canadians and Michiganders before casinos arrived in downtown Detroit. Caesars Sportsbook is now available in Ontario and is sure to be a popular choice among those who frequent the Windsor casino and anyone who has a Caesars Rewards account.
App vs Browser
It really doesn’t matter which you use to place your bets, Caesars Sportsbook is going to give you a great experience. The browser-based sportsbook has a little more screen real estate to work with, so there’s a large menu on the left with a full list of sports that you can always see. When you place a bet, your bet slip appears on the right side of your screen
Conversely, when using the mobile app there’s a useful menu along the bottom of your screen. It has buttons for the home page, All Sports – which is a great way to search for a specific game or event, as well as your Bet Slip, Promos, and a button for your account. You can navigate to pretty much every relevant aspect of the sportsbook from the home bar.
When you place a bet on the app it will pull up your bet slip along the bottom of the screen. It works well on a smaller screen as you can see the betting sheet, and the wagers on your slip at the same time.
You can sign up, deposit, withdraw, place bets, and generally get a complete sportsbook experience from both a browser and mobile app – so pick whichever is most convenient for you.
