If you have concerns regarding banking and your FanDuel sportsbook account – don’t. It’s extremely easy, and if you ever have questions support is there to help.
To see what options are available, load up the FanDuel Sportsbook cashier and take a look. It’s important to keep in mind that you don’t actually have to be in a state with legal sports betting in order to make a deposit. You can fund your account at any time, so that you are ready to make bets as soon as you cross into a permitted state.
Place Your Bets
The best thing about betting online with FanDuel? It’s easy. It’s never difficult to find the event you want to bet on, with the most sought after live and upcoming contests listed front and center under the ‘Popular’ tab.
Spreads, moneylines, and totals are always the first bets you’ll see, but far more options are available. Once you’ve made your pick, select it, and you’ll see your bet slip will appear, along with your chosen wager. Choose the desired bet amount, and place the wager.
By adding more than one bet to the slip you can easily turn them into Parlays, Round Robins, or Teasers with larger payouts.

FanDuel went live in Pennsylvania in March 2019, partnering with the tidy Valley Forge Casino Resort. The company also offers branded retail sportsbooks at three other locations in the state: Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and the Live Casino Pittsburgh. There are no restrictions on which sports are allowed to be wagered on in the state.
West Virginia is different from the other states in that it has its own, independent sportsbook app. While other approved states in the U.S. are able to bet while using the same app, WV will require a separate download, the reason being that the W.Va version also incorporates DFS.
FanDuel has partnered with the Belterra Casino and the Blue Chip Casino to bring online and retail sports betting to the Hoosier State. The company went live in Indiana on October 22, 2019 and offers all types of betting without any restrictions.
FanDuel arrived in Colorado through a partnership with Twin River Worldwide Holdings. Online operations are underway, though there are no immediate plans for a sponsored retail sportsbook in the state. The Colorado betting sheet is wide open with a ton of available markets. Enjoy.
Illinois has launched both retail and online sports betting. Though there were significant early obstacles, FanDuel was the third online sportsbook to launch in the state through a partnership with the Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria. They later switched their license to the FanDuel Sportsbook and Horse Racing facility they purchased, which is a great spot to visit if you’re ever in the St. Louis area.
Diamond Jo Casino is the lucky establishment to partner with FanDuel in Iowa, bringing the company’s online betting experience to the people of the Hawkeye state. There are no major restrictions in the state, which is good news for the legions of UI and ISU fans in the state who love to bet on their favorite teams.
Bettors in Arizona are in for a treat. Not only is FanDuel live in the state through a partnership with the Phoenix Suns, but there is also a top-notch sportsbook in the Footprint Center, where the Suns and WNBA Phoenix Mercury play.
State leaders in Connecticut cut a deal with the influential tribes in the state to split up the sports betting pie three ways. FanDuel, DraftKings, and SugarHouse are the only three operators in the state. FanDuel partnered with the Mohegan tribe and is unsurprisingly the market leader so far.
FanDuel really is everywhere! Even in Wyoming, where the population is small but the sports fans are passionate. Wyoming also has millions of visitors each year, many of whom may make a few legal bets on their FanDuel app in-between tourist activities. In an unusual twist, all betting is online-only (no casinos or retail sportsbooks) and bettors only have to be 18 to use FanDuel in Wyoming as opposed to 21 in most other states.
Louisiana is another state that went live in 2022 and has been a huge success thus far. Louisianans love their sports and have shown that they also love to bet on sports, with FanDuel leading the pack. Boyd Gaming once again provided FanDuel with market access, a partnership that has greatly benefitted both sides.
MotorCity Casino is right in the middle of downtown Detroit. After retail and online sports betting were legalized in Michigan, the large casino quickly partnered with FanDuel to bring an exciting retail sportsbook to the casino along with online sports betting to the entire state.
Sportsbooks in Tennessee don’t have any retail casino partners because there are no casinos in the state. All sports betting in Tennessee is online-only, which makes it easier to get a license. FanDuel is live in Tennessee, taking online bets from the eager bettors in the state. There are no major restrictions on wagering in the state, which is good news for all the eager college football betting fans there.
The Washington Commanders play their games in Maryland but are actually headquartered in Virginia. This allowed the team to partner with FanDuel, which was the first sportsbook to open up in the state.
FanDuel wouldn’t miss out on the biggest sports betting market in the country. Of course the operator is live in New York, one of only 9 sportsbooks licensed to operate in the state. The 51% tax rate is extremely high, but the legions of bettors make New York a can’t-miss opportunity. The only restriction is no betting on in-state college teams unless they are playing in a “tournament.”
FanDuel isn’t available just yet in Kansas, but the company is already offering bettors in the state a generous $100 just to pre-register for an account. Once sports betting launches in the state, anyone in Kansas who signed up for an account will have an extra $100 in free bets. What a deal!
More States Coming Soon
FanDuel is coming to the following states sometime in 2022 or 2023:
FanDuel in Canada
FanDuel is already the most popular sportsbook in America. Now they have their sights set on becoming the most popular sportsbook in Canada. It’s going to be tough, because many sportsbooks are already familiar to bettors in the country, but we’ve learned to never underestimate FanDuel. Ontario led the way with legal sports betting after it was legalized by the federal government in August 2021. Outside operators, including FanDuel, have been operating in Ontario since April 4, 2022 and have seen a surge of business from bettors excited to finally have legal, licensed wagering options instead of the gray market that existed prior to 2021.
