PICK: Harden under 36.5 Points Rebounds Assists (-115)
We are clearly in a different era for the Beard. He does not have the same offensive capacity that he once had. On top of that he is not even the true offensive alpha on his team. The 76ers are playing for their playoff lives tonight in Philly and myself and Vegas expect a close game with Philly two point favorites. If this game stays that close then I expect that it is Embiid and not Harden who has a big game.The Heat are an elite defense especially against opposing point guards. Combined with this game’s low total and Harden’s greatly reduced shot volume then I think this is the best prop on the board.

PICK: Philadelphia Phillies (+125) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Tonight we have a very light day in terms of MLB bets and props with only four games on the docket. I usually put a full unit on each straight bet, but with this play I am only going to place a half unit because I am concerned about Zach Wheeler coming back from the Covid list. Pitchers are a creature of habit and if he wasn’t able to get all his side work in he might be thrown off from that. If I am looking at long term numbers I know that I am getting the better pitcher with Wheeler vs Tyler Anderson. I am certainly not taking anything away from Anderson, he is a good real life pitcher who is very consistent. However I do want to point out that his starts this season have come against well below average teams except perhaps the Padres three weeks ago. The Phillies are very strong up and down this lineup and I think they can get to Anderson more often than the star studded lineup Dodgers can get to Wheeler.

PICK: St. Louis Blues (-110) vs. Minnesota Wild
After a very poor season in the net for Jordan Binnington he has really stepped up his game in the playoffs looking very solid against this Wild team at home and on the road. He gets the start again tonight looking for the series clinching game in front of the home crowd. I think that this veteran Blues team at home should be able to take care of the younger, albeit slightly more talented Wild team. Playoff hockey is not the same as regular season, you can’t rely on offensive production, you must rely on defense and depth. I think the Wild are too inconsistent defensively to be able to keep the Blues out of the net. The Wild have given up four goals or more in three of the five games this series. That won’t be winning many games even in the modern day NHL. The Blues are built for playoff hockey, with solid depth and and defensive minded players. Binnington holds the key to tonight’s game if he is solid like he has been thus far the Blues will win this game.
