Happy Friday everyone! Throughout the week, I will be giving out a few of my favorite MLB prop bets that you can find for free right here on ScoresAndOdds. Make sure to find the best lines at your favorite legal sportsbook. We have a huge MLB slate today. Let’s get started with the picks!

Free MLB Player Props Picks For Friday

Nick Pivetta is having a tremendous season and deserves a lot of credit to be where he is this year.  He is coming off a ten strikeout performance against the Cardinals. Pivetta is right under a 25% strikeout this year which is solid but as you look through his game logs, the strikeouts are not consistent. Cleveland is not a great team in terms of power but they strikeout at the lowest percentage in all of the majors against right handed bats. Given that you are getting odds to go with the under in this matchup moves the needle enough for me to make this a bet. Bet on Pivetta tonight.

Ohtani’s line price is even money and Trout’s is -130 for the 1.5 bases wager. If you want to bet their home run props, Ohtani is +275 and Trout is +180. I am a little bit more risk averse and will stick with the over 1.5 bases prop for my bankroll. Either way, if you are in the hitting prop market this evening, then I think you should be attacking Chris Flexen. His strikeout rate is under 17% and his SIERA is almost up to 5.00.  He also gives up fly balls at over a 40% rate.  This means two things are going to happen tonight for the Angels – the ball is going to get hit and it’s going to get in the air. I love the Angels props tonight so if you wanted to add a couple other plays like Taylor Ward or Jared Walsh then I would be all for it.

Much like Chris Flexen, I want to attack Zack Greinke in the betting market. But I simply can’t trust any of the Athletics to homer, due to their extremely low home-run rate. That doesn’t mean I don’t want exposure to Greinke’s sub 12% K rate. Not to mention, he is coming off an elbow injury, and hasn’t pitched since the end of May. With Laureano projected to bat 3rd on the road in this matchup, I think he will get five at bats for the game with two coming against Greinke. He is currently projected around 1.15 hits for today’s game and with Greinke’s struggles to miss bats I think that an extra base hit has a good chance of being a winning bet today
