NFL sports betting expert Kevin Taylor takes a look at the landscape of the NFC futures market and best bets to take advantage of!

Earlier this week, we took a look at our favorite division bets in the AFC. Now, it’s time to break down the NFC conference, where the last two Super Bowl Champions, the LA Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, call home.

Free NFL Futures Picks: National Football Conference Division Winners

NFC East: Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders have the largest odds of any of our picks at +500 – a line that we think is far too high, given how vulnerable this division could be.

The Dallas Cowboys are the favorites, but the offensive line isn’t what it used to be. Additionally, it will be interesting to see how this offense operates now that Amari Cooper is out of town and CeeDee Lamb is the new #1.

Add on some extra motivation for Carson Wentz, who is back in the NFC East after the Philadelphia Eagles drafted him #2 overall, only to trade him in the 2021 NFL offseason. He has plenty of speedy weapons to get the ball to, and with a tough defense led by Defensive POY contender Chase Young, we think it’s worth it to sprinkle a bit of cash on the Commanders here.

NFC North: Minnesota Vikings

The Green Bay Packers are heavy favorites at -190, and we just aren’t seeing it for the Pack attack this year.

Without Davante Adams in the offense, Aaron Rodgers is likely to struggle a ton, so let’s pivot to what is now arguably the best offense in the division in Minnesota.

Kirk Cousins could hold this team back a bit, but with a 1-2 punch in the backfield in Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison, as well as on the outside at receiver with Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, there is a ton of ways the Vikes can move the football.

The Vikings also addressed some defensive concerns in the offseason, signing Zedarius Smith from the Packers, while using their first two draft picks to beef up the secondary. This is one of our favorite prices on the entire board.

NFC South: New Orleans Saints

File this one under, we don’t love it, but it’s the best value in the division we feel. Tampa Bay at -300 seems way too high considering its quarterback was on the beach for half of the offseason, and they will also be without Chris Godwin, arguably the most key contributor to their passing attack, for at least part of the season to start.

While there are major concerns with the Saints during the post Sean Payton era, this is also a team that was a Rams’ choke job away from making the playoffs last year, despite inconsistency at the quarterback position the entire season.

If they are able to get a full season from Jameis Winston, and the offensive line is able to survive some key losses from the offseason, the defense should still be strong enough to carry this team to a decent record, which might take the division – if Tampa Bay does end up falling apart.

NFC West: Los Angeles  Rams

The NFC West is a tough one to call this year, given the uncertainty surrounding the 49ers starting quarterback position. Regardless though, the Rams are the best team in this division, despite the loss of a few of their offensive weapons in the offseason.

Sean McVay remains a top-five coach in this league and will continue to find creative ways for Matt Stafford to get the ball to Cooper Kupp.

And thankfully for Rams fans, Aaron Donald elected not to retire in the offseason, so he will be back to his game wrecking ways on the defensive front. We would rather be getting closer to +150 in this spot, but we will take any + money we can get on the defending Super Bowl champions.
